What We Test For

Complete STI Panel in One Visit

Many STIs have no symptoms yet cause serious long-term harm — infertility, organ damage, and increased HIV risk. Our comprehensive panel screens for all major infections at once, giving you complete peace of mind.

🦠
Gonorrhoea & Chlamydia (NAAT)
The two most common bacterial STIs — often completely symptomless. Detected via urine or swab using nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT), the most sensitive method available. If positive, antibiotics cure both.
🔬
Syphilis (VDRL / TPHA)
Syphilis is resurging in Nigeria. Blood test screens for Treponema pallidum antibodies. Early detection means simple penicillin treatment. Untreated syphilis damages the heart, brain, and nervous system.
🛡️
HIV, Herpes & Hepatitis B
We include rapid HIV antibody test, HSV-1/2 IgG serology, and Hepatitis B surface antigen — a complete sexual health screen in one blood draw, with counselling included.
When to Test

Five Reasons to Get Screened Today

01
Unprotected Sex or Condom Failure
Any unprotected encounter carries risk, regardless of how the other person appears. Most STIs are asymptomatic — testing is the only way to know for sure.
02
New or Multiple Sexual Partners
Starting a new relationship or having had multiple partners in the past year warrants a full screen. Know your status before it becomes a problem.
03
Unusual Discharge, Sores, or Itching
Genital discharge, ulcers, painful urination, or rashes are red-flag symptoms of gonorrhoea, chlamydia, syphilis, or herpes. Test immediately.
04
Before Starting a New Relationship
Getting tested before starting a committed relationship protects both partners and builds trust. Many couples test together as part of family planning.
05
Routine Annual Screening
WHO recommends annual STI screening for sexually active adults, especially those under 25. Make it part of your regular health routine.
STI Window Periods
Gonorrhoea
1–2 weeks
Chlamydia
1–3 weeks
Syphilis
3–6 weeks
HIV (Antibody)
4–6 weeks
Herpes (IgG)
12–16 weeks

⚕️ If your exposure was recent, we may recommend retesting after the window period for conclusive results. We offer confidential counselling at every step.

Preparation

How to Prepare for Your STI Screen

Minimal preparation needed — your privacy is our priority from the moment you arrive.

💧
For Urine / Swab Tests
Do not urinate for at least 1–2 hours before a urine NAAT test. For swab-based tests (genital or throat), no special preparation is required.
💊
Disclose Recent Antibiotics
If you have recently taken antibiotics (within 7–14 days), mention this before testing — they may suppress bacterial infections and cause false-negative results.
