How soon should I have a check-up?

Ideally within 2 weeks after an abortion or miscarriage. This ensures your womb is healing well and no complications are present.

Is bleeding normal after an abortion?

Yes, light to moderate bleeding or spotting can last 1-2 weeks. It should gradually decrease. We assess if bleeding is too heavy or prolonged.

When can I have sex again?

Generally, it's recommended to wait until bleeding has stopped and you feel comfortable, usually about 2 weeks. We also discuss contraception to prevent immediate pregnancy.

Will I be able to get pregnant in future?
