Common Questions About Consultation Fees
The consultation fee covers: Doctor's time and expertise, physical examination, diagnosis, treatment plan development, basic health advice, and prescription if needed. It does NOT include medications, tests, or procedures.
Patient registration cards are valid for 1 year from date of issue. Family cards cover all immediate family members (spouse and children) for 1 year.
Ultrasound Scan Services
Ultrasound Pricing FAQs
Scan prices include the procedure and a printed report with images. Doctor's consultation to review results is an additional ₦2,000. However, if abnormalities are found, basic explanation is included in scan price.
Yes, we provide digital copies via email or WhatsApp at no extra charge. Printed reports with key images are included in the scan price.

Insurance & HMO Information
Important Notice
Mascot Healthcare Clinic does NOT accept health insurance or HMO plans directly for payment. We operate on a fee-for-service basis where patients pay out-of-pocket for services rendered.
What We Provide for Insurance Claims:

- Doctor's notes and prescriptions
- Procedure codes where applicable
- Clinic registration and license information
How to Get Reimbursed:
- Pay for services at our clinic
- Collect detailed receipt and documentation
- Submit to your insurance provider
- Follow up with your insurance company
- Receive reimbursement per your plan
Recommendation: Check with your insurance provider about their out-of-network reimbursement policies before your visit. Some plans cover 60-80% of out-of-network costs.
Financial Assistance & Payment Plans
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans for services over ₦50,000. Options include:
- 2-Part Payment: 50% deposit, 50% within 30 days
- Monthly Installments: Up to 3 months for amounts over ₦100,000
- Corporate Billing: For company-sponsored health checks
Payment plans require signed agreement and valid ID. Interest-free if paid within agreed period.
Yes, we offer several discounts:
- Family Discount: 10% off total bill for 3+ family members visiting together
- Senior Citizen Discount: 15% off for patients 65+ years
- Return Patient Discount: 5% off for patients with 3+ visits in past year
- Referral Discount: ₦2,000 off for both referrer and new patient
Discounts cannot be combined. Maximum one discount per visit.
If you find the same service at a lower price at another licensed clinic in Lagos with equivalent quality and credentials, we will match the price plus give you 5% off. Conditions apply:
- Must provide proof of lower price (current advertisement or quote)
- Service must be identical in scope and quality
- Competitor must be within 10km radius
- Price match must be requested before service
